Refund policy
We want you to be happy with your purchase. This policy is a voluntary return policy by ManaBase, in addition to your statutory rights.
Please notify us of returns in advance — unannounced returns may be processed with delay or refused.
What can be returned?
- Sealed products (displays, boosters, bundles, decks): Unopened, in original shrink wrap/seal, undamaged.
- Accessories (binders, sleeves, boxes, playmats): Unused and complete in original packaging.
- Apparel/Merch: Unworn, with tags/original packaging.
Excluded from return
- Single cards (singles) — except in case of wrong delivery or a clear condition discrepancy.
- Opened sealed products (even “just looked at”), damaged original packaging, missing components/promos.
- Preorder items, except in case of wrong item delivered or defective goods.
- Discounted items (sale, promo, Black Friday etc.), except in case of wrong item delivered or defective goods.
- Personalized items.
- Digital content (e.g., download codes).
Preorders
- Preorders are excluded from our voluntary 14-day return policy. Your statutory rights in case of defects or wrong items are not affected.
- Cancellations before release are possible as long as dispatch has not been prepared. Please contact us as early as possible if you wish to change or cancel a preorder.
- In case of allocations/shortages, quantities may be reduced; we will refund the affected amount.
- Combined orders are shipped together; on request we can split them (additional postage may apply).
How to start a return
- Register: Send a short message via the contact form or email info@manabase.ch with your order number, item, and reason.
- Receive RMA: You’ll receive an RMA confirmation including the return address and instructions. Please do not send anything without an RMA.
- Pack securely & ship: Pack sturdily; for higher values use insured, trackable shipping and keep the receipt.
Note: You cover the return shipping costs unless there is a wrong item, a defect, or the error is ours — then we’ll provide a return label or reimburse the costs.
Transport damage & wrong deliveries
- Please report transport damage within 48 hours (include photos of the box, inner packaging, and item).
- Wrong/missing items — we’ll correct this quickly with a replacement or refund.
Inspection & valuation
After receipt we inspect the goods within 3–5 business days. Refunds are usually issued to the original payment method. If the condition deviates (e.g., opened packaging, signs of use, missing inserts), we may apply a reasonable deduction or refuse the return.
Refunds & Store Credit
- Refund: to the original payment method; bank processing can take 5–10 business days.
- Store credit: on request, faster as a credit to your account.
- Gifts/vouchers: gift cards are not redeemable for cash; returns from gift orders are refunded as store credit.
Bundles, freebies & free shipping
- When returning parts of a bundle, the bundle price will be recalculated proportionally.
- Freebies/promos included with an order must be returned as well; otherwise their value will be charged.
- If a return brings the order value below the free-shipping threshold, we will charge the shipping costs originally waived.
Fair use & abuse prevention
We’re happy to help — and we also protect all customers: conspicuous or abusive return patterns (e.g., repeated returns of opened sealed items) may be restricted or declined. In case of suspected tampering (e.g., reseals) we reserve the right to document and refuse the return.
