🛸 Edge of Eternities – Top 5

4 min read

Edge of Eternities introduces fresh mechanics like Warp and Station and shakes up both Limited and Constructed. Here are five cards that currently stand out—with mana costs, original text, and analysis.

Shop Edge of Eternities at ManaBase:
Tezzeret, Cruel Captain

5. Tezzeret, Cruel Captain

Mana Cost / Type: {3} — Legendary Planeswalker — Tezzeret (Loyalty 4)

Original text:

"Whenever an artifact you control enters, put a loyalty counter on Tezzeret.

0: Untap target artifact or creature. If it’s an artifact creature, put a +1/+1 counter on it.

−3: Search your library for an artifact card with mana value 1 or less, reveal it, put it into your hand, then shuffle.

−7: You get an emblem with “At the beginning of combat on your turn, put three +1/+1 counters on target artifact you control. If it’s not a creature, it becomes a 0/0 Robot artifact creature."

Analysis: Builds loyalty fast via artifacts. The −3 finds key cheap pieces, the 0 adds flexibility to mana rocks or creatures, and the emblem turns nearly any artifact into a win condition. Great in Commander and any artifact-centric shell.

All-Fates Stalker

4. All-Fates Stalker

Mana Cost / Type: {3}{W} — Creature — Drix Assassin (2/3)

Original text:

"When this creature enters, exile up to one target non-Assassin creature until this creature leaves the battlefield.

Warp {1}{W} (You may cast this card from your hand for its warp cost. Exile this creature at the beginning of the next end step, then you may cast it from exile on a later turn.)"

Analysis: Flexible removal that exiles on ETB. Warp lets you deploy it early and cash in later. Excellent in Draft; synergises with exile/blink themes.

Anticausal Vestige

3. Anticausal Vestige

Mana Cost / Type: {6} — Creature — Eldrazi (7/5)

Original text:
"When this creature leaves the battlefield, draw a card, then you may put a permanent card with mana value less than or equal to the number of lands you control from your hand onto the battlefield tapped.

Warp {4} (You may cast this card from your hand for its warp cost. Exile this creature at the beginning of the next end step, then you may cast it from exile on a later turn.)"

Analysis: Still nets cards/value when removed and cheats another permanent into play. Premium in ramp and sacrifice shells that can loop the leave-the-battlefield trigger.

Uthros, Titanic Godcore

2. Uthros, Titanic Godcore

Mana Cost / Type: Land — Planet

Original text:
"This land enters tapped.

{T}: Add {U}.

Station (Tap another creature you control: Put charge counters equal to its power on this Planet. Station only as a sorcery.)

STATION 12+

{U}, {T}: Add {U} for each artifact you control.

Analysis: Starts as a simple Island-like source; later explodes into a huge mana engine once counters are banked—especially with artifact tokens. Commander all-star potential.

The Endstone

1. The Endstone

Mana Cost / Type: {7} — Legendary Artifact

Original text:
"Whenever you play a land or cast a spell, draw a card.

At the beginning of your end step, your life total becomes half your starting life total, rounded up."

Analysis: Generates massive card advantage, but halves your life at each end step. Best in decks that immediately convert extra cards into board control or a combo.
