🛸 Edge of Eternities – Top 5
Edge of Eternities bringt frische Mechaniken wie Warp und Station und mischt Limited wie Constructed auf. Hier sind fünf Karten, die aktuell besonders herausstechen – mit Manakosten, Originaltext und Analyse.
5. Tezzeret, Cruel Captain
Manakosten / Typ: {3} — Legendary Planeswalker — Tezzeret (Loyalty 4)
Originaltext:
"Whenever an artifact you control enters, put a loyalty counter on Tezzeret.
0: Untap target artifact or creature. If it’s an artifact creature, put a +1/+1 counter on it.
−3: Search your library for an artifact card with mana value 1 or less, reveal it, put it into your hand, then shuffle.
−7: You get an emblem with “At the beginning of combat on your turn, put three +1/+1 counters on target artifact you control. If it’s not a creature, it becomes a 0/0 Robot artifact creature."
Analyse: Baut durch Artefakte sehr schnell Loyalität auf. Der −3-Effekt findet wichtige kleine Artefakte, die 0-Fähigkeit macht Manasteine oder Kreaturen flexibler, und das Emblem verwandelt fast jedes Artefakt in eine Siegbedrohung. Besonders interessant in Commander und in Decks mit starker Artefakt-Synergie.
4. All-Fates Stalker
Manakosten / Typ: {3}{W} — Creature — Drix Assassin (2/3)
Originaltext:
"When this creature enters, exile up to one target non-Assassin creature until this creature leaves the battlefield.
Warp {1}{W} (You may cast this card from your hand for its warp cost. Exile this creature at the beginning of the next end step, then you may cast it from exile on a later turn.)"
Analyse: Sehr flexibles Removal, das beim Eintritt ins Spiel gegnerische Kreaturen verbannt. Über Warp kann man es auch günstig einsetzen und später dauerhaft wirken. Starke Wahl im Draft und nützlich in Strategien, die mit Exil-Effekten arbeiten.
3. Anticausal Vestige
Manakosten / Typ: {6} — Creature — Eldrazi (7/5)
Originaltext:
"When this creature leaves the battlefield, draw a card, then you may put a permanent card with mana value less than or equal to the number of lands you control from your hand onto the battlefield tapped.
Warp {4} (You may cast this card from your hand for its warp cost. Exile this creature at the beginning of the next end step, then you may cast it from exile on a later turn.)"
Analyse: Selbst wenn der Gegner die Kreatur entfernt, erzeugt sie noch Kartenvorteil und legt kostenlos ein weiteres Permanent ins Spiel. Sehr stark in Ramp- und Opfer-Strategien, wo man gezielt ausnutzt, dass sie das Spielfeld wieder verlässt.
2. Uthros, Titanic Godcore
Manakosten / Typ: Land — Planet
Originaltext:
"This land enters tapped.
{T}: Add {U}.
Station (Tap another creature you control: Put charge counters equal to its power on this Planet. Station only as a sorcery.)
STATION 12+
{U}, {T}: Add {U} for each artifact you control.”
Analyse: Anfangs ein einfaches Land für blaues Mana, entwickelt sich später zu einer extremen Mana-Quelle, wenn genug Marken gesammelt sind. In Decks mit vielen Artefakt-Tokens kann das schnell zu einem riesigen Vorteil führen, vor allem im Commander.
1. The Endstone
Manakosten / Typ: {7} — Legendary Artifact
Originaltext:
"Whenever you play a land or cast a spell, draw a card.
At the beginning of your end step, your life total becomes half your starting life total, rounded up."
Analyse: Erzeugt gewaltigen Kartenvorteil, bestraft dich aber am Ende jedes Zuges mit einem sinkenden Lebenspunktestand. Ideal für Decks, die Kartenvorteil sofort in Boardkontrolle oder eine Kombo umwandeln können.
